Does anyone on here know much about mobile phones? I used to be clued up years ago on phones but now they all seem to be a bit strange.

Getting another contract phone (must be on Tmobile) and cheap line rental as with being at work most of the time I do not get to use a phone.

What phone is best to get out of these?

LG Pop (GD510) Mobile Phone on Pay Monthly

Nokia 6303 Mobile Phone on Pay Monthly

Samsung Tocco Lite Mobile Phone on Pay Monthly

Samsung S3100 Black Mobile Phone on Pay Monthly

    Any ideas?

Personally I have always sworn by Nokias.
I upgraded 18 months ago, wanted an iPhone, but Orange didn't do them so was convinced to go with a Samsung 8800. It was one of the worst phones I'd ever used; after a brief period of using the predictive text it decided that the key combination 668 should produce "on't" rather than "not" so you had to scroll through the options to find "note". It then did the same with "today":"unday", "do":"fo" and lots of others!
It's no wonder when it eventually packed in and I called Orange, they no longer supplied it and swapped it for an LG-something-similar, which is slightly better, but only just.

I will personally never have a Samsung or LG phone again, but that's personal preference.

I've now (apparently) upgraded to an iPhone at least (I wanted to be different and get something no-one else had ;p), but despite instructing Orange that it HAD to say "Informatics" on the package or Reception at work wouldn't know who it was for, it still didn't show and was rejected, and no-one thought of ringing my mobile number which the girl on the phone specifically checked to pass to the courier.

    Bah!

I got a free Nokia 5220 (with camera, MP3 player & radio) with Virgin contract (£8.50 pcm, 100 mins calls + 100 texts a month)

Copy & paste your shortlisted phones into Google and read a few reviews.

Like Ollie and Liza, I'd go with Nokia. Reliable, robust and easy to use. I currently have a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Touch screen, great camera and holds more music than my old Nano.

Oh, and it makes/receives calls too!

Well I have had several Nokias and they've all been fine but my last one simply quit predictive text altogether. I'm still using my 3220 as a spare and its..ye gods old..and still working fine.
My last two however have been Samsungs, and I prefer them to the Nokias. Better cameras for the price.
Currently I have the Tocco Lite. Slim, light, easy to use (and I'd never had a touch screen and didn't want one) And surviving my rather careless attitude to phones quite nicely thanks. Tbh I love it.
My mates have had several different LGs, and they have all constantly broken down...nice phone if it works, but very unreliable.
