  • Mobile phone help.

Just had a new mobile phone a Samsung Galaxy Young 2. Supposed to be an entry level smart phone but I have managed to b----r it up already.

Through google I went on to Sainsbury's Home Base site. Now when I google anything everything seems well, a list of sites comes up as normal but what ever site I tap on it goes straight to Sainbugs. A little sign flashes up for a few seconds saying 'no more tabs available'.

Anyone know what I have done? And more importantly how to undo it, Pretty Please.

When you're in the Internet app, tap the context menu button at the bottom left of your phone. At the top of the screen you'll then see the url bar and, to the right of it, a multi-folder icon with a number in it. If you press that icon, it'll bring up all of the open windows, you can swipe left and right to see them all. Close all the ones you don't want.

    Any good?

It sounds as if you already have a number of web pages open. Not sure what browse it uses but look at the top of the browser for a number. If there is one tap on it to open the tab manager and from there you should be able to close the open tabs.

Thanks Martin, it would appear I can only have a limited number of 'tabs' then it always goes back to the last one opened.

Followed your advice and the thing is now working again, that's is until the 'no more tabs available' signs pops up. But at least I now know how to clear them down.

        Many thanks again Colin

Thanks Jay-ell that was the problem.

I am good with central heating boilers though.
