Have they all gone, or am I in the wrong place? Anyway, my rant is: Himself struggling to work out how to send me a photo off his lappy. When I look at it with him, he's accidentally opened a photo of a naked woman sat in a most uncomfortable-looking position. A woman from work, apparently. Himself is then getting annoyed with ME and saying he never saved it, he only looked at it, and it's my fault his computer is running slow !!!!!!!!

Not really a rant,more of an observation,I thought "capped" threads were post number controlled by knocking off the first few pages,but it seems that only the original post is being left,I really do hope that the Just for Fun thread does not receive the same treatment as this & the What makes you Happy threads or there will be no logical start point

EDIT: I also note that with the post reductions the number of views also returns to zero,where previously it has remained at the actual number of viewings

Does it matter if there's no 'logical' start point?

I've noticed in my 'Likes' list received/posted (left hand side of Profile page), it says one number and at the head of the main 'Likes' received display it has a different number, so that is obviously another 'glitch.

I think the difference in likes is due to culled posts so the small number at the top are those currently visible with the larger number on the left being the total including culled posts

So, I write this as the first sentence of my essay:

The Rover and Othello present a number of male values, such as the concern with place (what we would think of as status or social-standing), with self-control, and with the control, ownership and exchange of women-as-objects or property.

Then a paragraph later I write this:

Place * is important to Iago and Othello. Iago hates Cassio as he feels Cassio has taken his place (Othello, 1:1:12) and Othello is also concerned to maintain his place, or standing, in the eyes of others[...]

and my tutor puts in the commentary at the side

*Place in terms of standing not location, then? This is a bit ambiguous.

I'm sick of not having any money Sick of scrimping and saving and paying off debts.

We've turned down 2 invitations this weekend to go out with friends cos we can't afford it. 2 weeks to payday and we have no money left. All the bills are paid, my monthly food shopping is bought, I've *just* enough money for petrol for the next 2 weeks. However it's so miserable having to penny pinch for 2 or 3 weeks of every month
