  • The Midnight Walk

    Hiya

(hope i can post this here, without offending anyone )

Myself and a few friends are completing the midnight walk in aid of Hospice at Home here in Cumbria.

Its on 8 July 2011, a six mile walk through the town of whitehaven and surrounding areas, starting at midnight, of course.

I wish to collect as many sponsors as I can to help out this great cause.

This local charity exists to provide the best possible palliative care to terminally ill patients, to give help and support to their carers/loved ones and to make it's services available to everybody in West Cumbria who needs them. It also provides Day Centres, Drop In Centres, a Befriending Service and a specialised Lymphoedema Service. These are provided free of charge to patients and their carers living in the Cumbria area.

I hope some of you will consider sponsoring me, you can do this direct through the following link:

    http://www.justgiving.com/Jean-Small

and of course, pictures will follow the event!

A brilliant cause. No one should be offended because a few of us (myself included) have fundraised on here before with no bother. (my link below is what we did)

I'll sponsor you next month (this month is a bit tight! )

What you could do is edit your signature at the bottom to include a link to your fundrasing page. It will then appear at the bottom of every post you make.

          Good luck!
I'll be doing a 10km midnight walk in Bath in October for our local hospice who helped us provide excellent care for my Nan as she lived with cancer and then died at home 3 years ago. They do amazing work.
Imagination is everything, it is a preview of what is to become.
