    Metal Detectors, what do you know???

    Well I'm quite interested in getting a metal detector. Thought it would be as easy as bidding on a well known auction web side and off I go.

    Well there are squillions of types and I have no idea. The web sites & mags I have come across seem to be aimed at people who know thier stuff.

    I'd be interested to see what you get Minskey, as my OH has wanted one for ages and if I save up, I might be able to get one for his birthday!

      Don't get one of the early models, as it was invented by Dr Frankenstein as his monster kept losing bits of himself all over the place, so it's only useful for nuts and bolts.
