  • Meet Mervin

The following message is from my daughter. She has chosen a name for the vine; BlueBelle

Hello this is my friend Mervin, who has come to stay with me for the weekend.

He lives in the school cuboard and this is my turn to have him. We have to keep a diary of his holiday. We have already taken him to the library (the librarian gave him a banana!) and to visit the neighbours. He has also had a ride on Toby. He will be doing the bird watch with us tomorrow and going church on Sunday.

If you send any messages to Mervin and I, Mummy will print them off and include them in the diary.

    Lots of love

    BlueBelle

I hope that there are some beekeepers out there that can send some messages to Mervin, after all they are APiarists.
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

Hope you are having a nice holiday with BlueBelle, BlueBelle's mum grows some lovley vegetables so I hope you are having nice food there.
Did you know there is a famous librarian who is an ape? See if you can find out who he is.

                Dear Mervin
Hope you have a lovely time with Bluebelle. You are a very handsome monkey indeed. Enjoy counting the birds. You must be very well behaved in church, no monkeying around.

                  Thanks for the messages.

I will be typing them up to be added to Hannahs diary about Mervins weekend with us.

We have been very busy, went to the library, visited friends, collected eggs from the farm, went shopping, went to church, visited Ollies grave and had a chat with Toby. We have collated it into a little scrapbook and I will post piccys once hubbie had scaned it in.

Mervin goes back tomorrow and then its back to normal (if thats ever possible in my house! LOL!) Its been good having him and I am just glad that there wasnt too much monkeying around!

Hope to be back for SNC later once got kids to bed.

That's great! looks a bit like my A level photography sketchbook, but Bluebell's writing is far better!

I think my writing was only as good as that when I was 10 - she is only 5!!!

Bless. Still, Mervin had a fun packed weekend, i would have made him go to a potato day and and art gallery...not nearly as much fun as high school musical and playing the piano.

Wow, you certainly had a very busy weekend.
I'm sure it was all worth it and when she gets older she will remember all the things you did with her.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
