Just watching Gardener's World from the Malvern Show and am now wishing that I'd made the effort to go (It's only down the road!) Could have tackled Joe Swift about the allotment...and a friend has just won a bronze medal with her first ever show garden!
Perhaps OH will shell out for tickets on Sunday and we can pick up some bargains in the sell-off (wishful thinking!) Has anyone been/going? Would be interested to know what you think...I haven't been since my eldest helped design a garden with her primary school a couple of years ago ![]() |

I always go as it's a bit of a family tradition - used to go with mum & dad, sadly it's now just with dad.
We don't stop very long, as dad has a bad ankle, but the floral marquee was great, and I like to watch James Alexander Sinclair at the theatre place - got there too early to see Joe Swift, so didn't have the chance to question him on rotovating...

Well, didn't manage to persuade OH...never mind, there is always the Autumn Show!
Glad you both enjoyed it! Its been so hot here in Malvern that I'm shocked anyone would leave a dog in the car for even 5 mins let alone while visiting a show - but it seems to happen every year and I hope there is a huge repair bill for those idiots to think about. |
