  • Lots Of Questions..

Whilst lying awake in bed last night I was thinking about all the lovely people on the vine and was wondering how people were doing now.
This is not an exhaustive list as i cant remember who was doing what.

    So here goes...

How is Heywayne doing in new job?
Has Mrs Dobby started new job or still in old job?
How's the family Chrismarks and Ffion?
    Hows Mr G4, Mrs G4?
How is Mr Jax doing and has he got ESA, Jax?
How is Shirlthegirl doing in Dutchland?
    Think Jeanied has new job?

Someone had problems with idiot landlord and had to paint hows that going?

If i have missed you then i'm sorry but feel free to update us or not

It could be that i'm just nosey

No, you're not nosy Steve. OK, most of us have never met each other, but the Vine is like a huge extended family and we do care about each other.

Yes. You're nosey. But so am I, so fess up you lot!

Mr.G is supposed to go chat with his GP regarding his blood, and he is supposed to have been to the 'Quit-Smoking-Nagger' too, but has done nothing about either! I will wait until half term, when he's not needed for driving duties, and will drag him there myself. He doesn't have to go back to the Eye Clinic, as they are happy that his problem is elsewhere.

        Thanks for asking.

(I have had negative results this week, for both my recent blood tests, and my follow up CT scan. If anyone was interested! So, you're stuck with me for a bit longer.)

Ffion is great thanks - a right little fatty! Quite large for her age, compared to our other daughter (Ffion is wearing the clothes my other one was at 6 months old - Ffion is only 7 weeks old!). But yes, a;; good here thanks

G4 'Quit Smoking Nagger'. Can I take that Mr G is trying to quit the weed? I decided to quit/cut down 5 months ago after being a 35 a day fool for 50 yes 50 years. I had tried nicotine patches, sprays etc all to no purpose when a customer recommended a Tornado Tank E cig. Perfectly legal to use anywhere, taste like a ciggie, smokes like a ciggie, gives you something to do with your hands, various levels of nicotine content and none of the other nasties. Usage works out at about £7 a week.

Result for me, well I am down to 10 a day and my consumption is dropping on a regular basis. Not through any kind of schedule or enforcement I just prefer my E cig.

Let me know if you require any further details, it may not be the complete answer but it has certainly helped me. My cough is miles better (even SWMBO has noticed) and I am saving shed loads of money for seed for next year.

Thanks Potty! Mr.G has been told by several Docs/Consultants/Nurses recently (since his TIA) that he must give up. Unfortunately he likes smoking, and doesn't actually want to give up, therefore won't even try. He's normally a very mild-mannered Fella, but gets quite 'arsey' when it is mentioned. I have now told him if he must smoke, he can do it outside from now on. In fairness, he smokes roll-ups, with filter, and he has cut down, but he isn't making much effort.

                        G4,

I know how he feels after a lifetime of smoking it is very very hard to just give up thats why I went down this route. At first it was not my intention to give up but to reduce my intake as I had developed a very nasty cough. But has I said before once I started to use my tank I started to enjoy it, even as I write I am puffing away like a good un, my intake today of real cigs is 7.5 and yes I count the halves. It may well be worth discussing it with him.
