  • Lost nearly 2 days ill. Fed up

Well whoever said I would get the sick bug the family had was right! Although not quite the same way, ie no sick!

I've been in bed for 2 days, with racing pulse (up to 130bpm ), aches all over like I've been kicked by a horse, and dizzy spells.

My mum has taken the toddlie to hers today as I was too weak even to lift him up (thank heaven for Grandmas), OH is having to do his work in stages inbetween the school runs etc so he had to do a load of work last night.

I feel terrible, and think I might need to go lie down again. Only been up 20 mins.

janeyo - back from her sick bed soon I hope, I HATE being ill it's such a pointless waste of time

the blessing of getting it last hun, is it's diluted by the time it hits you (true) so you shouldn't get it so bad or for so long.

chin up, enjoy a rest, you probably need one anyway with a toddler

Poor you, sometimes it is even worse when you feel grotty but aren't sick. You sound like me i am a terrible patient won't allow myself time to be sick, you must rest or you will get up too soon and that will make you worse. Stay in bed, rest, listen to the radio/music and allow yourself time to feel bloomin rotten! xxx

Hope you feel better soon, try and rest hard I know when you have a little one. When I am well I think I just want to be able to stay in bed all day, yet when the oppertunity is there where do you find me, yep up and about doing things that could wait.

I'm up to 7 so far (weeks that is) with my smashed up ankle... It's very, very frustrating isn't it?

I managed to hobble halfway down the path to my allotment the other day, but then the path got too slippy, my wrists and shoulders hurt, and I had to give up without even a glimpse over the fence

Still, I'm sure we'll all get there in the end, and Spring is in the air today, so I'm opting to feel hopeful

I feel soooo sick today, but had to get up and do stuff as OH had to go to work. (bummer) He promises me hw will be home early though. Also we had no food in the house so braved a trip to co-op with toddlie. Retched all the way round.... got some very strange looks!

If I hadn't felt so ill it would've been funny! Strangely no-one asked me if I was ok?! I am always asking people, and little old ladies who look funny if they are alright, drives OH bonkers.

In fact this is reminding me VERY much of when I was pregnant with my boys.....

                            It can't be.

How long were the rest of the family ill for? If it goes on longer than that.... I'd be tempted to do a test

Hope you feel better by tomorrow hun.
