  • Longest worm competition...

Now we're all clearing and sorting the ground ready for 2010 I thought it'd be fun to see who finds the longest worm over the next few weeks!
We'll need a piccie of course- so keep your camera/phone to hand and a ruler or something.
No prizes other that being the winner!

    ..what do you think peeps?

I doubt we'll beat this record somehow!!!

"According to the Guinness Book of Records 2009 the longest earthworm ever found was 6.7m longwhen naturally extended and 20mm in diameter. It was found in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa. "

The last big worms I found, when I was turning over the garden veg plot a month or so back, were necked by the chickens in VERY short order! No chance to get the tape measure out!

I used to live there and the worms were very rarely under 3ft long....
