do you stand up for your rights or do you just roll over? Do you square up to someone snarling at you or do you turn your shoulder to them as my old pekingese dog used to do with his siblings and let them try to chew on your shoulder which is heavily padded with hair(I'm sure you get my meaning)

I can be a pussycat and just rollover but in general I stand my ground. Gets me into trouble sometimes

    It depends who it is.

There are some people who are not worth the time and effort to argue with.
There are those who might hit you for arguing with them - but (and perhaps this is where I'm barking mad) I do think once they have and the police are involved that idiot is out of your life forever.

Depends on how strongly I feel about that "right". I don't do arguments very well - tend to just turn my back and walk away but if its something that I feel very strongly about I'll say so - and beggar the consequences.

Must admit I do stand my ground if I am sure I am in the right. However with this attitude must also go 'if your wrong then stand up and admit that to'

Won a nice one yesterday when the lady at Virgin said I could not have their 'essentials collection' as it was priced for new users only. Once I had explained to the 'resolutions manager' he agreed that letting me have the package would be a whole lot better than speaking to the Advertising Standards Authority.

I'll stand and fight for my kids and my friends, but not often (if ever) for myself.

I once overheard a youngster being given an absolute bollocking, by a woman I took to be her superior, in the middle of the store(T@@sc@) with numerous customers around. I intervened, told the woman she was an absolute disgraceand that if the youngster need to be reprimanded it should have been done off the shop floor in private, even out of earshot of the youngsters colleagues. The woman apologised to me and I told her it wasn't me she should be apologising to, it was the kid she had bawled out in public. She said she would go immediately and apologise to the kid. No idea if she did,but Iguess I must be a bit like Bins. I hate seeing someone being bullied.
