I do that too - I also put a piece of carpet as an inner sole - keeps my feet nice and warm (well, on most occasions anyway).Bernie aka DDL

I find my feet get just as damp with sweat (nice image, sorry!) if I put bags inside but do go for 3 pairs of socks inside my furry rigger boots
