Uh oh... got this weird bright spot on my laptop screen... - Spyware Sucks

its not looking good, a few i have read have suggested screen failure. may have to seek an expert!

Sorry, didn't mean to be rude, but in my opinion, Windoze is pants, and Vista is dirty pants! But, I repeat, that is only my opinion!

F8 Start in safe mode. Run McAffee again. Spot might be the behaviour of a program that was using one of the tracking cookies(?!)
If it's still there after F8 then pm or post again. It's unusual to get a spot in a corner.

Spot is almost in middle at bottom of screen bout inch from taskbar

G4 would buy a Mac if could afford it not rich like you

VVG, Everytime I try i go into safemode the screen keeps going white like someone has turned up the brightness. Tried to run malwarebytes but was taking sooo long.

Suggest going into BIOS setup (varies by manufacturer - usually press and hold down DEL key). See if it boots into the BIOS menu - if it does then it is not the hardware. Suggest you reinstall operating system if that is the case. If you can't get into BIOS then it is hardware issue - your laptop.

In addition reinstalling the operating system will WIPE data stored on your machine, so you may NOT want to perform a reinstall. Let me know and we'll walk through next steps after you have done all the above.

VVG it goes into BIOS okay

Seems okay at mo still got bright spot. Think it might be heat thing or not
