    Knee op done at last!!

    Madmax is home after a day at the hospital and an arthroscopy to remove tatty bits of cartilage and ligament. He is strapped up and a bit sore.

            Best wishes from me too. My friend's hubby had it done just before Christmas, and my Butcher had it done last week. They were both up and about within a couple of days. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery for Madmax too!

              Please give Max our love Shirl. At least he's now got it over and done with. He'll soon be up and about, with the pain and problems of his gammy leg.

                          I had it done last spring, was sore for a couple of days but got moving quite easily after that, so glad i had it done, now pain free and I don't hear grinding when I climb the stairs. definately worth the discomfort.

                          hope MM has a speedy recovery.

                            Thanks so much for all your positive comments! They are appreciated. Still hobbling about a bit but my leg will either get better or drop off...

                            I had an epidural as I was reluctant to undergo a GA (seen too many go wrong in my medical days and the 'abuse' patients can suffer whilst asleep).

                            No prizes for guessing what parts regained sensation last of all...

                            And for you Pumpkin Becky: well done on surviving! Hugs to you and I hope you recover quickly.
