  • The kindness of Grapes

I've just had sent to me, free of charge and postage, a dish-dash, an eastern type garment, for use in future life-size Nativity scenes like the one I have on my blog for December. People here are just so thoughtful, and I know we all appreciate each other. What a great community this is. ( I won't embarrass you by telling everyone it was you, Jeanied!)

Grateful thanks to a great lady!

Indeed it's a great community! I've had various people send me seeds, give me produce etc - all without me either sending stamps or sending anything in return.

I think that in your case Flummery, it's what goes around, comes around In my experience, you are one of the most generous people we have on here and I have benefitted from your generousity more than once.
Well done Jeanid, on the dishdash - what a brilliant idea for a nativity.
You are, indeed, a lovely lot and should give yourselves a virtual pat on the back

Just what I was thinking Scarey

I too have been the recipient of a lovely gift from Jeanie (aka Fairy Godmother ) and am constantly delighted by how often I open seed parcels that turn out to have far more inside than the original trade or offer

This is indeed a great community.

I've gushed about you lot on more than one occasion, and have been the recipient of many a gift from kind, loving and sharing grapes - as illustated best here: http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ers_28393.html

Flum, you have been generous to more than one of us, and at levels that go beyond forum expectation. That last sentence makes no sense, but hopefully you get my meaning...

When papers, and newscasters are filling our heads with all that is bad with the world, just have a quick read on these here pages, take a look inside 'our' world and you'll soon see that there is real good in this place we all call home.

I'm so glad others have been the recipient of kindness from such a lovely, generous Lady. I was Jeanie'd when she came to stay with me for the grape stock weekend.
