    Kids arrrggghhh

    I have just come back from lottie, putting new locks on shed after my break in........walked into kitchen and asked where my onion seeds which i sowed last week where. My son, hiding behind his father admitted that he put them outside last night and when I went to look they have drowned....

    I am really upset about this as these are my mammoth onions.......OH and kids dont appreciate or understand my hobby, to them its just seeds and soil....attitude of so what????

    Going to sort out some more to sow.

    Well done for not throttling anyone...
    We're going to buy young plants from 'Mammoth Onion' I think, perhaps that might be worth a try?

      Does he have pocket money? Maybe a new packet out of it for you?
      Or make him sow the new ones, to try and understand why it floats our boats?!

        yes I would give them a try, you will so impressed by the size of them, very sweet too.

        nearly throttled him............anyway i will take janeyo's advice and get him to sow them himself.
