Bren, nobody will be about now until January.

Try closing down the computer; starting it back up again and clearing your cookies before trying again. If it happens again.

And in the meantime, don't actually log out - just stay logged in and it should bring you back in each time.

If there is a problem again, go to the home page and at the bottom is 'view forum leaders' - send whoever is online an email and tell them what is happening and we will try to get you back here.

Same happened to me. All of a sudden logged out and had to register?

I get it every now and then on someone else's computer........but I just clear the cookies and all seems well.

I cleared cookies as suggested but when I wished to log in again I was asked for password. In the email I was given a gobbledegooch name can I change it to one I will remember?

Yup - go to user CP and then to edit password and email. Change it there.

First time I've been logged out unwittingly Bren, but when I came on tonight I had to put in my user name and password. Because I have many senior moments, all my passwords and log in names are in an alphabetical book (in my own code I might add) so I could log back on easily.

Glad you had no problem Florence but in spite of my senior moments (Urggh)
each time I close The Vine (without logging out) I have the log in thing to do again. No problem really but a bit confusing when it has never happened before.

What a pain for you Bren. Mine is ok now, I've popped out and back on a couple of times to make sure. Don't get upset, I'm sure someone on here can sort it for you.

I have no Quick links or links to todays posts.
To post this reply I have to enter user name and password.
Is the Vine going to be out of order all over the holiday. If it wasn't broken why did they fix it ?
