Is it just me or does anyone else prefer the older version of T&M website?

Yes - I also prefer the old style site.
Main 'dislike' is not having the catalogue numbers visible on the site to pin down precisely the item you're ordering. Also no Bargain Seeds section to easily find - well bargains!
I think they've also done away with most expensive pack of seeds free over the £10 threshold? Another symptom of the credit crunch?
Still - I'll see how I feel if/when I need to order from them next time.
Perhaps its just a question of getting used to it - just like when this site changed a little during 2008. -
Yeah maybe time will tell. I just guess i'm beginning to dislike change. Didn't appear to be a easily navigated in my opinion though. Vegetable seeds didn't "jump out" at me. But then i suppose the main veg season is coming to a close.Comment

Think about it gary - this is their online shopwindow for 2008/9 - it will not have cost a weeny bit to develop, program, test and present the new system online and ensure all security aspects etc in place.
I don't think the design has anything to do with the main seed growing season being over for Europe - I actually think that the site is now simplified in one way but less accessible in others - especially for a novice grower who may not know exactly what they're after.
Overall I think it lacks pzaz on the home page and that seems to drill through to the other sections - and I will feed back to them my first thoughts as they have requested somewhere on the site.Comment
