| Kirsty B is right for the No 2, it is courgette,( I meant to load other picture from very close look but has sent a wrong one , hi hi hi ) No.3, Sue A has got right. No. 1 is from a climbing vine ( very unique, ornamental and also edible ), it blooms around late afternoon, smell gorgeous... any idea ? Cheers, Momol

| It would be worth having a bash at okra just for the flowers

| Is #1 a potato vine? Solanum jasminoides? Whatever it is, those flowers are beautiful!

| They are pretty Kirsty, too bad, it blooms during the morning and by the afternoon or so it close again but then you could enjoy the okra pod some 4 days later. The red pod variety is a lot more interesting and very ornamental. cheers, Momol

No it is not the potato vine, it is from the cucurbita family, the snake gourd . I grew it while living in the Singapore, it was baking hot, and we had him as a living canopy at our roof top garden, beautiful flowers, very unique and very fragrance... We did eat the snake gourd once, but has to be fast in harvesting, they turn big pretty fast and becoming stringy. The big snake gourd looks so alike snake hanging down and it scared most of our guesses too...Cheers, Momol
