Best of British and all that. Sure you'll be fine.
You better be good anyway to pay for Flower's clarinet lessons.
    Good luck.

I have been dithering cos it will mean flowers will be home alone sometimes and I always said I wouldnt compromise my childrens saftey or well being, but as she is nearly a teenager I have to think about it.

Hope your interview goes well Jackie
I always think to myself "If you're meant to get it, you will. If you're not, you won't" which helps to dispell the panic a bit And it's true that whenever I've missed out on a job, something else has come along later.

Well the good news is I have to go back for another interview on sunday. The bad news its from 2pm till 6pm a working interview with screaming kids supposodly having fun, I asked if I could wear ear plugs and she laughed and said no but we have lots of pain killers at the ready lol. The hours will be 2pm til 6pm two or three afternoons a week and the occasional sunday which is ok.

I wouldn't worry about Flowers being home alone for a while, I think she shares not only the same name (spelt differently) but also is a similar age (12) to my daughter and mine is very independent in fact she enjoys being given the responsibility of looking after herself for brief periods of time.

She always has a contact number for us and she knows which neighbours to go to if there is a disaster. Often she has a friend around and I'm even happier if there are two of them, it means that if one is injured or something at least the other can get help!!! Daughter says I worry too much, I've told her that's my job....I'm her mum!!!

Hope Sunday goes well, and that you decide the job is for you. (remember its a two way process this interview lark!)

Its an indoor play centre with ball pool slides etc all netted and soft play mats etc for under 12 year olds. I do go there with my niece and her little girl, so I do know what is expected of me. They do birthday parties and sunday is going to be very busy. I have to clear tables and see to the dishwasher and take food to the tables. If I get on ok under pressure then I think its in the bag, with four sons I think I can take pressure lol for me it will be a breeze kids I can handle, parents hmm thats a different matter. When its quiet they will show me what else I have to do so I can take food orders let people in and out as its gated for safety. Will let you know after sunday.

                              Blimey you're mad.

Good luck anyway, certainly sounds like you're qualified!
