Thought they said power stations were all safe?????
We have staff out there....luckily on plane coming home now. Our Tokyo office has been evacuated but all are ok.
My heart goes out to all those caught up in this. The pictures look so dreadful.

        Dreadful.
Looks like there's plenty more to come elsewhere later on in the day as the tsunami hits other coastlines as far as America.

It's going to be a worrying, cold night for all those who have lost their homes- and maybe family.

I've been watching it on T.V this morning. The wave's are around 30 ft high, it must have been terrifying for anyone in it's path.

Dont know if it will affect my sister who flew to Hong Kong on Wednesday to join the Queen Elizabeth ship to cruise back to Southampton, or my Brother in law who is on an island somewhere, maybe Indonesi or Maldives not sure. I also have some friends going to cruise around Hawai soon.

Heard about this on the Radio - can't bring myself to put the TV on!

                  Fingers crossed for everyone...

It makes me ashamed to think I complain about the British weather when there are disasters like this.

This is when I wish there was only one News Channel or that they could share their footage...I hate it when they fly out and record people waving out to be rescued...probably hoping the helicopter hovering above them is there to save them...not film them in their hour of desperate need

I'm totally speechless, needless to say my thoughts are with the people of Japan & their distant families.

I've been listening to it on t'raglio all day but can't actually believe the footage - watched the tsunami coming onto the airport and it really reminded me of a Stephen King Horror.

                            Unbelieveable and so frightening.
