  • I've been banned (from a FB group)

Despite there being swear words used about people who manage allotment sites, I've been banned for my 'attitude' because I said something the admin didn't like.

I've read it through and can't see why he didn't like me saying what I said.
I've cut and paste the thread just before he banned me so can re-read it!

Never been banned from a forum or fb group before.
    I feel quite offended!

That's usually quite hard to do too! I guess there's not much you can do about it so perhaps take it as a badge of honour?

Don't be. I have found when people are like that it is usually a good thing to have nothing to do with them. It is easy for things to be read the wrong way or quickly twisted out of context. In most instances you should get a warning first.

Some things can easily be read out of context, which makes people take offence when non was intended. I would just forget about it.

I agree with Jon, the written word can sometimes be misunderstood. Banning outright without prior warning though seems a little harsh.

Oh no he had sent me a personal message and posted on the group about abuse ... but apparently people can be rude about people who do site inspections but using the word untidy is against the rules.

Just don't get banned from the Vine .................now that would be a disaster.

Got banned from a pub once, funny thing was all 12 of my mates who I used to meet there walked out with me. That soon changed the landladies mind, would love to have seen her face when one of the guys explained we wouldn't be back even if the beer was free.

Glad i'm too old to learn how to use face book. I am not known for holding my tongue and would give as good as I got, then some.
When I did that 4 letter word, (work) I was always getting in bother for speaking my mind. If I thought I was right, I was like a dog with a bone.
                          Looks like I've mellowed now.
