  • It's up!

My new wireless weather station is now installed on the front of my shed and happily sending information to the touchscreen console sat on my bookcase. I can now find out how hot / cold, windy, wet, etc. it is without having to leave the sofa.

Next step is to install the software onto my laptop so I can start my own weather archive......

Can we rely on you more than with the Met office for weather forecasting?

The farmhouse at the bottom of our village has a weather rock. It is extremely reliable.

        Endless wonder.

Ooh I've got one of those - ever since I have had it it's always showed stormy even during last years heatwave. It's good though as one of the sensors is in the greenhouse whichsaves me having to go out and decide whether to put the heater on.

I doubt I shall be forecasting much (given my lotto record so far), It has been one of my "desired items" for quite a while and as it cost just £70 plus a further tenner to erect I'm more than happy. Once I get the software loaded and some real data into it then I'll update as appropriate. I'm happy to report it did record the short shower we had today as 0.3mm of rain (I was worried that sensor wasn't working properly).
