Default Its raining

Morning all. I dont know what the weather is doing where you all are, but I would just like to report, Michael Fish style, that is is actually raining in the Sahara desert this morning.
Very unusual, last time it rained here was 23 years ago apparently.
Just my luck, come for a suntan and it rains. Pah!!!!!

Even better news, we had some rain over night in the Dordogne - first for weeks, just what the farmers and growers need. Suits me cos I'm working in the greenhouses today.

There will be bits of green stuff sprouting for about 2 days apparently, and then back to normal scenery. Sand!!! Oh, and the occasional passing camel train.
Good news for the Dordogne, and I believe it has rained overnight at home as well, which will be good for my pond.

No fog here today, but lots of clouds. At least there was no frost this morning for a change - twas a whole 2 degrees!! when we left the house (7.15am) but felt warmer than that even.

Still dry and calm though.
