  • It's not Sunday is it?

Evening everyone. Been a lovely day here and just wanted to share what Madmax and I had been up to this weekend. Not much actual gardening achieved so not suitable for the what I did today thread.

Flossie is back on the road, photo below courtesy of Aranthos (aka mk1 son). Also demolished next door's cat run and rolled all the weldmesh up ready for the redesign into a hen run. chooks and fresh eggs are becoming a reality rather than a dream.

What's everyone else been up to then?

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Does the VW have twin exhausts?
If so you could call it Skippy!

Lochlans birthday today, so keeping the peace between over excited and tired kids (he was up at 5, 6 then 7 this morning to get his presents open) Had lots of music all day (he got a CD player and Now 69)
Finally got an empty house, going to stick Eilidh in the bath in a mo, then once bedtime run is done, will have a quiet night hopefully, absolutely knackered!

No, it's not Sunday. I'm cooking dinner (burritos) and feeding an abandoned starling with worms every half hour, so I'll be in and out.

          Even though it's not Sunday.

Brilliant! Haven't seen that in ages. Not a new motor though - Flossie is 23 next month and I have owned her for just over 5 years.

Nope, bog standard 1.8 GTI cabrio - won't let Madmax soup it up in any way at all.

Um, why Skippy? (dare I ask?)

Good luck with the little birdie Two_Sheds. We reared a jackdaw chick years ago - weetabix and bread in warm milk (it was very little). It survived to go wild and used to come to visit from time to time.

BW: your link says it's a "malformed video" and it won't play
Can you mime it for us?

Oh. But Flossie isn't a Skoda (though some new Skoda's are made from VW parts)

He's 10, just got interested in gardening, he dug out all the weeds from last years potato plot for me, think it is all about cash though, he wanted me to buy a toy for the gardening, he also wants to regain the rhubarb patch, think that is because I managed to sell some for £20!
