  • I'm supposed to be on a budget!!

I am terrible, I'm supposed to be on a tight budget but ive just popped to supermarket on my lunch break and picke up two gardening magazines (one obvs being GYO)
I'm actually subscribed to both magazines but the first issue wont come until next month and I'm ithcing to have something to read this weekend...plus they came with some pretty seeds lol

THEN I started thinking about my other seeds and how I'd like somewhere new to store them which quickly snowballed to me thinking of how I can transform the current smaller shed into my gardeing/woodworking haven...it would involve taking down a stud wall and moving it a few ft...and installing some windows...

Did I mention I'm due to be made redundant on June 30th and should not be thinking about big expensve projects - so many ideas and not enough £'s

But the more you work and the fitter you get the bigger your appetite so the more you have to eat so the more you have to grow!

Therefore the more you have to spend getting everything suitable for your enourmous fruit and veggie consumption.

Mind you after thinking about it while I tried, without success to prize the cheese sauce out of the pan you could......
end up healthy, happy, fit and mentally more agile as you have had to think out side the box to solve your growing problems as you are too skint to buy a fix solution.

Thing is are any of us sane? We dig to exhaustion, never have decent nails, get wet, sun burnt, spend a fortune on seeds we may never use, chase slugs, bemoan 'leggy' things and sob over various forms of mold.

I've been really good this year and bought hardly any new seeds - apart from the ones I really really need of course.
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
                          Pumpkin pi.

Can you freeze seeds then Nicos? If so it may mean I can justify throwing away those terrible veggie sausages to make room for the seed sales.
