I'm single again...

    I'm single again...

    and happy about it. Me and OH split at the weekend. I do feel sad that it has come to an end but feel happy as I know i made the right decision.

    Sorry to bore you with it but I just needed to say it out loud as I haven't told family yet.

    Here's to the next adventure.

    Splitting up - even if chosen by 'you', is always a sad period, I guess it is the failure of something that you had hopes for.

    I chose to end my last marriage, it was with great sadness, but the right thing to do - both me and he are very happy now and we were able to pull it back to being pals.

    Tough decision Bex, good luck on the next adventure

      Good luck for the future Bex. I have been (more or less) happily single for the last ten years. OK, it gets lonely sometimes and it would be lovely to have someone special but at my age I'm not prepared to put up with the hassle that seems to come with most relationships.

        Best of luck to you Bex - whatever you decide as your path now. Can't imagien how tough it must be to make a decision like that.

                  I did that after being married 1st time for 20years. After 5 years on my own I spoiled myself, went on a cruise & met the now Mrs BM...............

                    Well done, Bex. That's a hard decision to make, but a necessary one when you know you're in a relationship that's harming you. Been there, got the tee shirt! Time now to be yourself to your fullest capacity, find out who you really are and do the things you really want to do. (((hugs)))

                          Ahh Thanks Guys! I love feeling part of the big vine family.

                          It was a tough decision but he made it so much easier for me to make by being a jerk towards the end. We had only been together 18 months so I hadn't invested years. It's still sad though all the same.

                              Sorry to hear that - as others have said, even when you know it's right it's not an easy decision to make. Brave girl! And well done Ollie for that lovely comment, you old softie!
