  • I'm getting old

    Or something else's up.

    My typing's getting worser.

Letters round the wrong way, extra letters appearing where they shoudln't. Taking me ages to type stuff nowadays.

Well, that's how it seems anyways.

Me too; I used to be SO GOOD at typing

I used to have a secretary who was RUBBISH at typing, she saw all her words the wrong way round [I didn't recruit her, I must add]. I spent a month writing down all the words that she consistently spelt wrong [these were on client reports, not just internal stuff], and went in early one morning and plugged in 'autocorrect' all the words that she got wrong.

Saved me hours each week correcting all her misspelt words.

I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Heck, I've always been like that.

If it's any consolation, my cat seems to be getting old, too. Playing with my camcorder, yesterday, I filmed him coming into the kitchen, stopping with that 'What did I come in here, for?', shaking his head then wandering back out. See? Happens to all mammals! His typing has always been rubbish, though.

I've started to read my messages before clicking 'post' otherwise I seem to find a stray v in there somewhere amongst my words.

I'm having problems with my lap top, when I'm typing the words its missing most of what I've typed out, so I'm constantly having to go back over things to make sure all the letters and spaces are in the right place.
There's even times when spell check doesn't know what I'm going on about..

I should have done that......My name should only have 2 "L"'s in it not 3.Then it took me forever to log in the 1st time cos I didn't realise (and you think you've got problems).......

A favourite problem at work is when people can't find who they're 'searching for' on our database - it usually involves a space at the end of a name - you can't see it, but the pooter can and thinks it's an extra character. Nice easy problem to solve but they think I'm amazing!

I have problems with my lappy too - there's often a crumb under a letter and then it doesn't press down enough to register Or, because the kb is so tiny, I hit n, b or v instead of the space bar, punctuation marks instead of l, p or m, and the hash key on the bottom left instead of shift... 'Tis nice to get back on the big pooter now and again
