Just crap when friends you have worked with for ages are made redundant. I remember feeling guilty that I still had a job but relieved at the same time. No wonder you feel a little down. LadyWayne and Bean will cheer you up when you get home. Remember, they're the reason you get up and go off to work every day. If you get chance, put your feet up this evening and enjoy the tipple of you choice.

Oh what a rotten day. I totally understand you feeling down. Hope your friend finds something else soon. Thank goodness you're ok in your job - try not to feel guilty about it, just thankful. That is rubbish...but in this climate there's going to be alot more of it.

You can't beat yourself up about it...just be there for her when she needs a moan and a groan. And also a reference of course.

Just before I left for home, LadyWayne sent me a text to say that Hayden had smiled, and she was trying to get him to do it again. Made me smile.

Glad to see the back of this week, just sat here with an ever-so-slightly overfilled glass of red and waiting for the ruby man to arrive.
