    I'm Back

    Some of you may have noticed that I have been absent over the last 10 days. Well we have been rewiring the house from the meter out so we are just getting everything back to where it should be .
    For those of you who were celebrating my absence - sorry the party is over - normal service will be resumed as soon as I get caught up on everything .
    What did I miss ? - runs and hides
    There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

    and good to have you back -as regards what you have missed - I think you'll find that after you spend the next three days looking at all the new posts, you'll be pretty much up to speed.

            Hi Beefy - and hello! I seem to have missed you for longer than the last 10 days mate! I try and pop onto the vine whenever I can, but have missed you for ages! Hope that you and yours are all well. Are you still gardening/lorry driving at weekends? What are you up to in the veggie growing department? Dexter says woof woof!

                  Still gardening but have moved sideways into a job where I'm going round 44 schools every week with a team of 3 cutting the grass, trimming hedges ,marking pitches, spraying weeds and general maintenance.
                  Lorry driving has just dried up since February - last year if I wanted a weekend off I had to give a bit of notice so another driver could be found . So far this year I've only been out to England 5 times - I've been credit crunched . The loads through the week have been consolidated and there is not one for me on a Saturday morning anymore.
                  I'm now spending more time at my fathers farm milking cows and helping out with the work thats needs to be done . we are getting sheds washed out and disenfected ready for when the cattle have to come in for the winter and getting ready for harvest - so I being kept busy enough.

                  Potatoes, carrots ,turnips, onions , lettuce and cabbage all growing well outside and a small green house with tomatoes , chillies and a grapevine are also all in rude health. Basic,I know compared to some on here but all will help and will be eaten.
                  Since February I have lost 3 stone and am now halfway to my goal of losing 6 stone - and keeping it off.

                  Life had come to a standstill while the electricians were here but I'm now starting to catch up and get going again.
