  • If that's insomnia!

Then I don't want it again thank you very much!

I've been awake since 0200hrs, I mean wide awake not even dozing - this was due to a mix of nausea, chest pains and shaking - WTFlip was that about?? I am currently in zombie mode and hope normal service will resume soon

Someone plug me into the mains please

If any of you get the dreaded insomnia I marvel at your ability to carry on!

Can you try and have a kip after lunch ( always easier on a full stomach)

Drs visit is a good idea if those chest pains continue!

Were you at all anxious? Or have you started taking any new meds which might give you those side effects? ( I ask because it's happened to me, I thought I was dying, I kid you not) And did these things wake you up or did they happen after you were already awake? It could have been because you were very tired but your brain just hadn't shut down, and your body was dropping a hint....

You really should go to the doctors. Episodes like that will cause you to worry, especially if Snowdrop wasn't there.

Could be something as simple as a panic attack. Really would suggest you get to the quacks asap to get it checked out though

I'm in a quandary as to waking up. As a diabetic I have got used to waking up three or four times each night togo to the toilet, however, lately I've been waking up even more often and not having that feeling that I should go to the toilet.

It is a case of "have I woken up because I need to urinate, or have I woken up for some other reason and as I'm awake I may as well visit the toilet"? The doc has asked me to keep a record of the times I wake up. I have a clipboard and two elastic bands streached horizontally so it is quite easy to write between the bands and keep the times in order in the dark.

I am having muscular pains in my shoulders, arms and 'pins and needles' in my hands, I think that is what is waking me up when the pains grow but only in the arm I'm lying on! Curiouser and curiouser. Cheers, Tony.
