  • Ibruprofen!!!!

    Anybody have Ibruproven for breakfast?

With doing my house renovation and because my body is starting to get old, (spondulosis and general back pain) I'm finding I have to have Ibruproven for breakfast to see me through the day.
Two biccies, a cup of coffee,a multivitimin, a glucosamine and an ibruproven every morning!

It's usually Fosfor here - I even have OH on it while his broken wrist heals (which he hates - apparently it was something "with a weird taste" that his mum used to give to him from time to time).

try pro plus too, they give a boost. I take glucosamine, cod liver oil and paramol with my perfectly normal non flat coffee with milk

I only take painkillers in the day time if life is really rough. 2 Tramadol with Naproxen at bedtime though - vicious stuff!

I hardly ever take a tablet...I have to be reminded they exist...could be doubled over in pain and someone will say have you taken a painkiller and I think Oh yeah, that would help!
My mam used to take ibrufen but they damaged her stomach and for about 2 years she had constant diarrhoea...not much fun!

I'm very much a non tablet taker, the doc was amazed when I refused his kind offer after he had yanked out my big toe nail, by Odins beard that was painful.
I dont take them, cos I feel that when I really do need them, my body will have built up less immunity to them so they will work better.

Can't take ibuprofen, or diclofenac anymore, they trigger my IBS really badly. Tis a shame because they were good to keep me moving without too much fuzziness. I don't take anything 'regularly' at the moment, because I was getting a lot of resistance and then it got to the point that 2x Tramadol + paracetemol wasn't doing anything!

I've had to give in the last couple of days though, and I'm having 1 co-codamol with every meal because I hurt all over from the weekend. It's just about taking the edge off so I can function
