i've caught the bug in a very big way now ..... i'm gonna be SOOOOO busy over the next year or so, i must be completely mad .....
just got the allotment - still needs more clearing / digging etc
picked up a van load of timber, mostly 4x2 floor joists and T&G floor boards - perfect for building a shed for the allotment - can get windows easily from a plot full of junk
also got enough timber (and other bits) for triple compost bins (will be bit bigger than pallet bins), a large cold frame, staging and shelving in the shed, a dog kennel, and leftover pieces for insect boxes for the allotment
have picked up a load of wine / cider making gear - already got tons of apples / elderberries / pears in the garden - but will be growing things like parsnips just to make more wine .....
bought 37 packets of seeds today, gonna be growing sooooo much over the next year or so ..........
and with all the fruit i'm growing, i'll be making a lot of jam and stuff too .....
and ........ i think i've got a girlfriend now ......... anyone taking bets on how long before i get dumped for putting the allotment and stuff first?
