  • I may be some time

Today, I will be mostly clearing out the shed.

If I'm not back at the end of the day, call the search team.

I do know, that during the clearout I will be ejecting a Black & Decker strimmer and a cheap leaf blower/sucker.

If anyone wants them, PM me and they're yours!

No, I'm not putting them on Freecycle, I can't be @rsed.

Take a packed lunch and a can of beer - clearing out sheds is stressful work. Remember to leave your mobile on, charged, and in yer pocket. I'll get the Brandy in the barrel, and go find a St. Bernard just in case!

For some unknown reason, I've found myself doing mine on midsummer weekend for several years in a row now; so I'm gonna stick to that schedule i think.

A good clear out is good for the soul. So, listen to Craig Charles' Funk and Soul show afterwards, whilst you still can.....BBC - 6 Music

Nope, not me, nothing to see here....

I did find two dead mices though. Well, one dead mouse and a skeleton and some evidence of a slightly bigger animal. Several 'eaten' plastic bags and cardboard. There was also a large piece of wood that served as a worktop in the utility room before I replaced it. I kept it, thinking "that'll come in useful for something I'm sure...". Never did, but when I moved it I've never seen so many mahoosive spiders in one place in my life! Managed to get them all off before I loaded it in the back of the car.

I've now decided that it will be a good idea to get a seperate bike shed - so that LadyWayne and I can have a crafty snog. No, it'll make more room in teh shed for 'shed' stuff rather than cluttering it up.

                We'll see I guess.

Didn't realise I had so many pots either.

Sowed some broad beans and sweet peas too, just to get some gardening done.

Loads of bulbs coming up in the trough and pots on the decking, so should start seeing some colour soon too.

Also spotted a random crocus in the lawn - at least that's what I think it is.

Going to get the bikes out tomorrow as I've now serviced them, and attach the Bean trailer to go for a ride round the village.

                What a day!

Keep the Schnorbitz - they're gorgeous dawgs.

                    Brandy sounds good though.
