I must be so mean! or hard-up, - I wouldn't dream of spending 43 quid on some wellies! Probably just me though!

Nah, you're not alone Pompeylottie - I'd always be stopping to do the laces up and how would I feel if I stood on a nail or spiked the toe with my fork? (Which is what happened to my last 2 sets of wellies.)
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I like the purple ones but can't ever see me spending that much on a pair of wellies.

Have seen these in TK Maxx for a fraction of the price! About £20 I think...

Beware Hunters are made for those with cocktail thin legs - or is it me with tree trunk calves?

Erm.... I hesitate to say this when so many of you are lusting after them or even ordering them as I type - but I don't like them! There, it's out in the open!

And if you stood in a deep puddle, would water come in through the eyelets?? Also, my experience of Hunter wellies hasn't been brilliant, the tread always seems to wear off quite quickly, and the rubber perishes pretty fast too. Oo, sorry, I sound like a right old misery! The colours are lovely though....

(I once had a pair of Hunters stolen from my doorstep in a sleepy little Somerset village! I wouldn't care, they weren't event that new - I always hoped the thief suffered terrible blisters and worse...)
Life is brief and very fragile, do that which makes you happy.

Imagine how good your feet would look as your lovely red boots filled with water though.

Bad news though... THEY'RE NOW OUT OF STOCK

I'm hoping they will have a cover behind the eyelets - if not, I shall just wear them when it is dry
