  • I have a little something I want to say!

I would just like to say a BIG, BIG THANK YOU to RedThorn and his OH = Steve & Jo!

Towards the back end of last year RedThorne and I started to message each other on here after He so kindly offered on one of the threads to mend my greenhouse for me!!

Not having an OH of my own, it was a job that I was not able to do myself! It was mostly the roof that had broken and missing glass! I do not like heights, makes me feel ill so handling the glass, up and down a ladder would have been a bit tricky for me alone. Also with me being a little bit of a vertically challenged person, LOL i.e. a bit of a short house at just 5ft, I decided to take RedThorne up on his kind offer:

On Saturday just gone RedThorne and his family came to my place glass at the ready and him and his Mrs. Set to work and what a great team they made. My greenhouse is whole again and he also built me 3 lovely raised beds to go in my garden! We also went to my local garden centre just to get some more glazing clips, silly me could not find the ones I bought last year! The temptation to buy at the GC GRrrrr lol

I feel that I have made some good friends with Steve And Jo and hope to see more of them in the future! It is funny how you can meet someone and appear to hit it off straight away, I feel like I have known them both for ages!

Salute to the two of you!
    xx Love Jan

Live like you never lived before!

Laugh Like you never laughed before!

Love like you never loved before!

    One Love & Unity

Hooray for Mr & Mrs Redthorne

There are so many lovely people here, it's great!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
