  • I hate September.

I hate September........because it's Spider Month. I know that any day now I'm going to start to find them lurking everywhere. Ugh. I don't mind when they're outside, or even in the greenhouse, but if I find one waiting for me in the bathroom.......
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

i'm not keen on spiders either, and after moving my bbq cover the other day (it had been left in garden for a few weeks), I realised why! Not quite dinner plate sized crawlies like Hans Mum had, but def could eat a small bird!! I just put my gardening gloves on to deal with most things like that now! But I do hate them!!

I lived in OZ for a while and can cope with spiders, it's the slugs and general slithery things I can't deal with, eek & ick!

Oh yes, and the dark nights!

Is it just me or are spiders bigger than they used to be?

What you mean September we seem to get them most of the year especially in the bath!
They don't bother me at all. Live an let live I say, They usually get rescued and put outside. Its midges that are the bain of my life, my ex used to say he take me along fishing goes it kept the midges off him as they seem to love me
