  • I could have burst with pride!

My little boy, 3 weeks into school life (had week off last week for his eye operations) came home with a massive shiny sticker on his jumper that says 'Head Teacher's Award'.

He is to have tea (juice) and biscuits with the head tomorrow as he was so brave with his op and because he has been the politest boy in his class!

I could have cried I was so proud!

They tell me they pick one from each class each week who has done somethign good etc and he has been chosen!

janeyo (must fish out a clean jumper for him tomorrow then lol)

Aw bless him. We had that - I was the admin officer who wrote to parents to invite them to the Friday Awards Assembly. We always kept a box of tissues at the back of the hall!

Oh, well done Janey and Son.

I know I might be an old bu??er but these days it is nice to hear that children are getting credit when they deserve it. Of course, it must to be to do with good parenting

Evening Janeyo, most of the youngsters out there are good kids, despite what we are always hearing.

And it sounds if your lad is one of the very good ones, so be very proud of him.

Hope they have his favourite biscuits.
            God bless all of us.

Congratulations Janeyo for raising such a super kid. I think most kids are great (despite some of the bad press) and yours is among the best. Take pride.
