Aww bless. Is that a Scottie? Can't properly tell from the photo. Our family always had a Scottie about, from my great grandparents back in the late 1800s to the last one which belonged to my dad before he married and which lived until I was 13 and the dog himself was about 16. You just don't see them around anymore. Our family suffered a serious lack of imagination though, they were always called Mick then the next one Kim (sounds like Mick, backwards) then back to Mick again. That last one was a Kim and probably the only reason we didn't get another one was that by that time we had a Michael in the family and we'd have had no name for the dog.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

He is a Schnauzer having a bad hair day, he does gets mistaken for a Scottie quite often though.

Met a very confusing dog once. Looked like a Westie, except black. Turned out to be Westie cross Schnauzer. OH thought it looked 'like a Scotty, but not quite right', no it wasn't that like a Scotty, it was not much like my Katy who was the first dog I was ever allowed!
Saw a Scotty only yesterday, but there aren't many about (a few months back we often saw a 'black-and-white set', apparently inspired by the Whisky) Westies seem much more usual these days.

If you have a poundland nearby then i would suggest looking out for the LED camping lights they sell. They use 4 AA's and have either 12 or 24 LED's and are super bright for £1 and obviously portable!
