  • how quickly you run to fat!

I knew I'd put on weight over Xmas ... I bust the zip on my new cords, and now I can't do the zip up on my jeans.

    But how much?

    5 kgs

    In 10 weeks

I usually cycle daily, but haven't been able to for one reason & another. I've been pretty much housebound since falling ill at end of October.

I haven't been really pigging out, I've just been having things like butter, cream & cheese that I normally don't touch with a bargepole.

Just goes to show how quickly it goes on ... I bet I can't lose it all in 10 weeks

Hmm. I've just finished my first week on Slimming World - 15 to go before we go on holiday.

Then, as many grilled cheese sandwiches and coffees as I can get my hands on. Yum.

5kgsx2.2=11lbs!!!(sorry!)....I'm going the same way though...now that DS is at school(just around the corner)that's nearly 5 miles a day I'm not walking to get him to & fro nursery.I've also still got blocks of butter that I bought in to make Christmas goodies with...& who'd have marg when you could have butter instead?!(the cold weather doesn't help as even leaving it out of the fridge, you still need to slice it off as opposed to a thin scraping!)
Well,if I get off mine now,I could fit in an hours digging when I go to sort out the chooks...& then treat myself to some choccie for the walk home!

                      Well, yes and no.

Grilled cheese sandwich is cheese toastie. But in new york you gotta shout 'grilled cheese saamwich, plain bagel with swiss cheese and two kwaffees' at the guys behind the counter or you get nada. And you gotta shout it loud. It's also made with processed cheese not proper cheese [they don't have it out there] but it keeps you going for hours.

Due to forces beyond my control (someone merely mentioning it) I am right now having lunch of grilled cheese and ham toastie. It is lovely.

I started to watch Half Ton Son last night (Mr R away, so free to watch things like that) but didn't carry on - what a sad situation. And my God, the size that some people get to. Lord knows how their hearts don't give out sooner. Mind, it is a good programme for a heavily pregnant woman - should have made LW feel like a teeny tiny slip of a thing again?

You'll get me all angry now....& I was in such a cheery mood! How can a mother who can't stop going on about how much she loves her son, serve him up with that carp whilst he can't even manage to drag himself up straight to eat it in bed!I'm sure she could manage to blame it on some kind of syndrome...but Sorry, she made me quite P'd off!!& the bit that really got to me was when she asked him if he wanted Daddy to go with him to the hospital & he said no & then she said ooohh do you want mummy to come....knowing he would but just a little more rubbing it in what a little(?)mummy's boy he was.....& then not letting the hospital get on with their job!!...&....told you you'd get me all angry!!! shall look on it as revenge for putting "the time is right" in yer head!!
