    How many visitors?

    Is this for real???

    Currently Active Users: 2835 (140 members and 2695 guests)

    For some reason over 2000+ people were viewing the Allotments thread???

      It's something to do with search engines - if someone Googles 'growing tomatoes', and the Vine comes up in the list, then that shows on here as a 'Guest'. It's not necessarily people actually on the Vine, just search engine 'hits'. I wonder if it contributes to slowing things down?!

          Yes, Google is doing it.

          I have typed something into Google, and been brought back to one of my old threads on the Vine!

            also, if you take a look at some of the 'newbies' - they ain't for real, the name format 'they' are using suggests they aren't genuine peeps but a spam bot or some such other techie term that flies right over me!

            I manage a website for a client and that gets the same treatment - takes a fair while to clear the devils out - but to my (limited) knowledge they won't hurt us - but they may cause the delish Ben to have to come out of his cupboard .... not all bad then
