You could watch some paint dry, or watch the kettle boil. It'll speed things up no doubt...

    Have you tried platting fog?

C'mon old bean, chin up. 5 days left in September then it will be October and it will be the end before you know it.

I'm trying to 'live in the moment' - in fact I always try to practise that because September 2009 will never come my way again!

Keeping things in the day is a good idea How about writing a list of things you need to do today and then doing them? It might help

Apparently it'll soon be Christmas...as that's another whole two months after October.....meaning....you've still got longer to wait than you'd like!So really I don't know?
Lots of love to you & hope he picks up on Scarey's telepathicness'.xxxx

on a different subject of how quickly or slowly time lapses...how can my two hour cycle on the washing machine be done at 10:45 when I didn't put it in until about 9:30???

It will pass in a flash, keep busy and focus on a date that is happening before SD comes home, maybe a meeting with friends or family. Think in days rather than weeks, I work on Fridays and Fridays come round really quick, I am sure it was Friday yesterday, wasnt it.!!!!!

He's only counting his laundry days till he gets back, and doing a bit of panic tanning, stop fretting petal.
Once he's added them all up and is nicely red he will say hello again.

It's hard Piskie, the closer you get the further away it seems (Mr HF use to go away, nothing like SD but the 5 week ones were hard)
I like the idea of a daily jobs list, but then I am a list kinda person.
Spring clean one room each week?
Do you knit? Knit a scarf, It will be lovely to wear and will help pass the time. Gives your hands something to do.
