  • Homemade Playdough

I just thought I would share my homemade playdough recipe
Much more fun than the bought stuff!

    1 cup plain flour
    1/2 cup salt
    2 tsp cream of tartare
    1 tbs oil
    1 cup water
    colour

Pop all ingredients into a pan and heat gently, stirring all the time. Ready when it looks like proper playdough!
It'll keep the sprogs happy for hours and is very theraputic for the stressed out mother too (nothing in the world like warm fresh playdough - honest!)

    Happy hols

I make thisalso, you can also use the microwave to make it and put food colouring in or glitter.

Oooh that brings back good memories - you're right there's nothing like nice warm fresh playdough. Used to play with it for ages - cooling it down until it was right for the children of course!! Never as happy trying to dig dried clumps out of the carpet though, if you miss some it dries like concrete!!!

So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!

Oooooh Memories for me too! I wouldn't like to say how many years ago I made this stuff of an evening for the boys to use the next day. It was great though and yes it dries like concrete on the carpet!
