  • Hiya, can i have a positive kick up the b.....

Hiya friends, my mum calls me a "whittle arse".
I have a really crap week ahead in that i have to go for an ECG and blood tests on Tues(because of the high blood pressure)and then on Friday a Sigmoidoscopy due to other things !!.
I am really scared because i worry too much.
I know other people have more to worry about than me me.
Think i have got to 37 and realised i am not immortal,
    Love ya all Minty XXXXXXX

    Only 37? (I wish)
Go along with the tests Minty at least they might find out what's wrong and put it right.

Me I'm sixty but don't feel it.

You wouldn't be human if you weren't scared. It shows you're still alive.

Now, put all 3 things on the calendar with a little square box next to them so that you can tick them off.

Worrying about things doesn't make them better, or worse, or make them come quicker or slower. It just gives you a bad tummy.

Now - what the chuff is a Whittle Arse?

You are as old as you feel lol sometimes I feel like I am 180 and others 16 oh how I wish lots of things I wouldnt do with hindsight. lol
Go for the tests and see what they find might not be as bad as you think best to know so it can be put right.
          Good luck

{Minty} Be a good boy, listen to your Mum and stop fretting

Easy for me to say, I know but most 'medical' stuff really does turn out to be nowt to worry about, really.

Let your Vine family know how you get on, won't you?
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

I'd be a total hypocrite to say don't worry....we'll have to fight for the title of worlds worst worrier!!.
Just try to keep as busy as poss to try & take your mind of things....sure all will be fine & maybe once it's all done you'll be granted a couple of worry free days before the next bout of paranoia sets in
I was always teased by my mates for always coming up with the worst case scenario......since having the kiddies it's only gotten worse!!My best weapon is to try & accept that everyone worries & 90% of the time it's unfounded...so the odds are stacked in your favour!Hope it goes O.K!!x
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.

Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.xx

Hi Minty, I just looked up 'sigmoidoscopy' on Google (as did most others I suspect lol!) and I suspect that a 'kick' up the bum wouldn't be a good idea, as it may make their job more difficult!

Anyway, stop worrying (worrying is probably the only thing wrong with you!) it'll be fine. Fingers crossed anyway!
