I thought it would be at least a week, so much for having an organised life before I start.

For March, they've offered me Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday...may be extended. I was concerned that I'd be chasing and fighting for hours, but that will see me into the official working person hours

Have a great first day tomorrow! Dpnt worry about feeling a little daunted by being in an unfamiliar position, tis just the bodys reaction to new stimuli!

I'm feeling as though Im just learning the ropes now, dont have that 'frightened rabbit in headlights' look or feel after 2 weeks in role, so at least its getting better!

I can't do the school run with unbrushed hair hidden under a hat anymore, or throw on the first thing that I lay my hands on, or forget the kiddies packed lunch and drop it off later

Good luck on your first day Di - not that I think you will need it at all!

Make sure you put everything out ready this evening - clothes, kids stuff for school, shoes, keys etc.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
