Default Hi everybody !!!

I've just register to GYO and feel very happy to have done so !
I am living in London and have the chance to have a tiny garden in the back of my rented flat... I arrived in this place almost two years ago and it was just bare, now it starts to feel a bit more alive with all the composting-green manuring job I have done...
My aim is to plant veg and flowers-herbs all together, a mix and match of edible colors, and I have to say I have lots of stress coming up with the rise of the temperatures and the spring arriving cause it will be my first "real" garden!!
Anyway, I feel les lonely now that I've join this forum... HELLO TO EVERYONE AND TALK TO YOU SOON!!!

Welcome aboard Maria.

Good luck with your little garden. There are people on here who do very well with relatively little space so you're in good company.

Hi, nice to meet you. Lots of advice on offer here. Some people don't even have a garden but get some quality crops from pots. Don't get stressed, come in and have a chat!

Welcome to the 'Vine Maria.
Don't get stressed about your gardening - it's meant to be fun... In your first year you are learning what works & what might not, so don't worry if a few things go wrong - lots of things will do great to make up for it! It's very therapeutic to have your own little green oasis, I'm sure you'll soon be hooked on the gardening thing, and chatting on the 'Vine is pretty good too

Hello and welcome Maria....your'e gonna love this place!!

We look forward to hearing your plans and ideas for your garden, and if we can help a little then even better!

Sounds like a small bbq area amongst the flowers/herbs and veg would be a bonus too!

WOAAA !
your are all so friendly, cant believe all the reply I have in a couples of hours!
THANKS ALL!
it seems that we can create a blog with this website, I will try and do that so you will all see my little oasis growing !
Sure I agree that its the best thing ever to relax, I love Nature, people here in London dont realize how important it is to make the most of green space, not only for be happy but for all the wildlife constraint to live between buildings...
You are going to see me a lot on this chat !!
THANKS ALL OF YOU !!!!

Glad to hear it Maria.

Can I add my welcome to you, we are a friendly lot here and as the David Bowie song goes - "If you stay with us, you're going to be pretty cookie too"
You're probably too young to know this and I don't suppose anyone else would admit to knowing it so, I'll shut up now!

that's because we like it in here better than being at work but don't tell the boss - oh, I am the boss

I've not long moved away from London, I have to say it wasn't my most favouritest place ever - but as Snowdrop (OH) is in the RAF we have no choice

Welcome to the vine! Don't forget to update your location so that we know where you are for vegetable growing. Doesn't London has its own unique micro-climate to the rest of the country?
