How big, where, is water on tap, can you have bonfires, are greenhouses/sheds allowed, rent (how much/when )How secure,is there an allotment society?
I'm sure there are more but the person you are ringing may have a few questions to ask you.

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Well I think I'd be asking "When can I come and look at it please?" and "Is anyone else interested at the moment?" then go along asap and take a list of things I wanted to check out when I was there.

        Fingers crossed for you.

lol, I'm all of a doodah and really hope he's not telling me I have to wait another 5 years lol.

I have to ring him back - couldn't talk to him before as had the squids in the bath. If he'd had bad news he'd have told me in the original call surely?

I'm so close to the top of the lists I've been waiting on! 7th and 9th. With 2 plots to be offered by weekend. So not giving up just yet.

He has told me about another large site run by an estate agent for a charity.

Has anyone heard of this? Would there be pitfalls to this? I hadn't heard of such a thing and the estate agent has nothign about it on the website.

nope, but you don't lose anything by contacting them and it may be good and you get a lottie sooner .... sure the council bloke wouldn't have said anything if it was dodgy.
