Once you've finished that coffee, if you quickly make another one, you can spend some time in the garden watching the fish in the pond.

It'll all work out...... When we moved (the week before Christmas!!) I had it all planned - what to do which weekend to make sure we weren't living in a house of boxes and chaos. So of course, it all got done the weekend that we moved, with boxes all over the place!! Some good tunes and a bottle of wine did us wonders and got us through....

Get someone round to help you. It's much easier to be motivated with company.

I love packing, and moving house - having a good clearout and feeling like you're on holiday for the first few weeks in the new house... It's great, I wish we could move.

Anyhoo, to deal with your motivational issues, I recommend cold Cola, plenty of chocolate, and some loud, preferably funky/dancey, music

Good luck, I'm sure you'll get everything there one way or another.

We moved recently, and I was reasonably organised with it all. I ordered professional packing boxes and materials (things like that motivate me...) and really enjoyed packing things nice and carefully at first. However, I was waaay too slow (I WAS 7 months pregnant) and by the end, with half an hour to go, we were jamming loose glasses into the back of the car and flinging clothes out of the window, vaguely hoping they'd snag onto the removal vans and therefore reach their destination.

I suggest eating about 14 funsize chocolate bars and a choc ice for hyrdation, and when you're buzzing with sugar, just randomly start wrapping objects and placing them in boxes.

                        I do hope I've helped.

All the breakables and clothes are packed, it's just the general rubbish (sorry things) in the house.
Did enjoy it to start with, when the house went on the market 5 weeks ago, but it has all happened so quick.... It's easier now than when the kids were home, I can get rid of toys without them noticing!!!!
I'm sure we'll get their.. The pain of it is my partner was made redundent 7 months ago, and the week we move he gets a job!!!!

Music (loud; cheerful in your opinion, or aggressive if that is the sort of music you like; and with a strong rhythm), and set a rule of at least one box fileld before the next cuppa (2 boxes if they aren't very big).
