    What do you think? should I hire him out - he's a pretty furious digger

    Now... just got to teach him to put the weeds in the compost

                I've just discovered that he has a good nose for potatoes - I was digging over the old potato bed ready for green manure and he "pointed out" loads of potatoes that I had missed.

                I'm thinking of training him to truffles next

                  Just read what you said about truffles - that's what I'd just put! D'oh! Must read more slowly. Still, a Spud Hound might be ok
