Default Hello

Hi Everyone

I've been lurking around for a while so thought I'd best introduce myself.

I've had my allotment for a couple of years now and just getting it into good order. I like growing veg and a few cut flowers. I'm hoping to have the whole plot in use this year

Cheers

Aindriu

Hi Aindriu. I agree entirely with your "cept for slugs" line, I hate the little rascals.
Welcome and enjoy

You need thrush.

Don't forget that the birds and maybe hedgehogs and other little critters may eat the poisoned slugs, so be careful what you use.

Hi Aindriu, we start off stuff in modules to stop the slimey ones eating them, plus grow extra to make up for losses. But its not really a battle that can ever be won.
